When booking an escort, there should be a place to put either an email or the persons community username. I say that because if there's a sudden bump along the road and the escort has to be cancelled you can then contact them and re plan the escort. In the beginning of January there was an escort that was cancelled because the time wasn't 24 hours in advance. So that person never got an escort and may not reserve another one. So by adding this feature there can be more reservations and more pilots will be satisfied.

This may turn some people around. It's a lot of information to get people in an escort. Possibly use it for the application process?

Both options can be completely optional. You can either give no information give an email or your community username so you can talk in a pm. I think most people won't mind giving people there community username because other people can see it anyway

I agree with both of you. I am going to add this to the escort reservation form now, and make it completely optional to give both. Beside the box I am going to put something like "Optional in case you need to cancel". I will get to it by tonight. This is a good idea.
